TM Lewin – the day dress sorted.
Question. You’re off shopping for a new dress. Not a dress for a special occasion or an event, but a dress that would be smart enough to be suitable for work in Summer, or could take you to sport’s day at the kid’s school. Where would be the first place you would look? I’m taking a wild stab in the dark here, but am guessing that the your first port of call wouldn’t be TM Lewin, best known to most of us as the place to find the perfect work-shirts for both men and women. But you would be missing out if you didn’t pay TM Lewin a visit, for…

My pick of Clarks new season.
My fave place to shop for shoes has to be Clarks. I get all Joe’s school shoes from there, they literally last until he needs a new size, they are hard-wearing and tough and yet super comfortable too. My hubby is a big fan of the Clarks Originals Desert Boots, having both the suede and leather versions, and basically living in them, especially the leather ones. As for me, I am a total Clarks Addict, having a huge range of boots, heels and flats from the brand. It really is a brand that I would find no problem recommending to anyone. I always get excited with the new ranges that…

The variety of shoes available on the market is so vast that even the most experienced shopper can be overwhelmed. With all the choices available, the question has to be asked; which is more important: style or comfort? And do you have to choose? It’s sometimes difficult to comprehend why women wear shoes that are uncomfortable, especially when you hear…

Summer shoe trends stay relatively similar each year, with a few fun twists thrown in to go with that year’s wardrobe crazes. Here’s a look at what’s been hot on beach feet this year: Wedge heels Not everyone is cut out to wear high heels, so wedge heels come as a much needed alternative this season. Wedge heels are known for their provision of height with more security…

Alexa Chung style in Clarks Originals
If I had to pick my favourite shoe era, it would probably be the 1970s. I am kind of besotted by the idea of chunky wooden platforms, Scholl style sandals and any other summer shoes that are far removed from the Gladiator, strappy style sandals we live in today. And all this probably explains why I am such a fan of Clarks Originals. Alexa Chung is another lady who seems to be at home in the sort of sandals I remember wearing as a little girl. Her feet are constantly adorned with the sensible strapped flat sandals that make you think of scuffed knees and grass stains, and yet just…
