December Outfit post part 2 – Christmas!
Welcome to part 2 of my outfit round up for the month of December. This is the part of the run up concentrating on the outfits I wore over the Christmas period, so, as you might expect, it contains a lot of glitter and sparkle. There are also lots of new things that I was gifted for Christmas by my lovely hubby and family. And, as we are now firmly entrenched in the January sales, lots of the items are now heavily reduced, giving you the ideal opportunity to grab a great sales bargain. I am always firmly of the opinion that the Christmas tree shouldn’t be the only thing…

December Outfit post – Part 1- Build up to Christmas
Happy New Year to you all! I’m starting the year with the usual outfit round up, this time for the month of December. But, as December has been a very busy and active month, I am going to split December into two posts, with this one being the run up to Christmas, which was filled with parties, panto’s and all around good living. Today we have woken with the news that Hollywood legend Debby Reynolds has died after suffering a stroke, just a day after the death of her daughter, Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher. It is shocking that two ladies, who…

Christmas Belle – Kim Wilde
This year’s entry in my annual Christmas Belle’s series is Kim Wilde. It seems this series, which looks at a female singer of a fab Christmas hit who also happens to be a bit of a style icon, is firmly entrenched in the 1980s, with previous entries including Kate Bush and Chrissie Hynde. Kim Wilde was one of the biggest, British female stars of the 1980s, with a career that stretched the whole decade. She was also a sex symbol and a bit of a style icon, with a style that stretched from sexy to tomboyish. Her entry in the Christmas hit parade came courtesy of a fun charity version…

Old age and fashion don’t have to be enemies anymore
When you are on the brighter side of 60 fashion should bow down to you instead of the other way round. You should be able to kick away your high heels, tummy tuckers and push-up bras and confidently pick something that lets you declare your style with dignity. Many of us feel the need of comfortable clothing while staying at home, but refuse to stray from society’s designated fashion standards. However, as per home health care in CT services, it is indeed irrelevant if you consider the healthcare hazards that your tight denims, push-up bras, and slimming underwear put you through. When you are above 60 it is time for…
