Madonna launches her first perfume
It’s taken Madonna a long time to come up with her first perfume. After a career that has seen music, film, video, books, clothing for her own line and collaborations with H&M amongst others, it is hard to believe that 2012 has seen the very first fragrance from the Material girl. Hard to believe, but true. But the Queen of Pop has finally dipped her multi talented feet into the fragrance pond with the launch of Truth or Dare, her first perfume, which is currently available exclusively at Selfridges. The Golden Globes – The Best Looks.
Last night saw the REAL start of the Awards season, with the Golden Globe Awards. This saw a fabulous array of red carpet dresses from a host of designers and in a sea of colours. Here are my favourite looks from the night. There were examples of Old School Hollywood glamour on the red carpet. January Star style, featuring Madonna, Pippa, Angelina and a whole lot more.

So here are some of my favourites from Palm Springs, Critics Choice and the National Board of review awards, just to get you in the mood for Sunday’s Golden Globes. And just to prove that sensational dressing is not confined to awards ceremonies, we have the best dresses from the W.E premiere…and Pippa rocking amazing Markus Lupfer. Spoiling you?…Of course, but you are so…

W.E. – It’s almost time for Wallis to Rule
The reviews aren’t exactly glowing, but I’m still very excited about Madonna’s new movie about the great love affair between Edward and Mrs Simpson. The film is released on 20th January, with Angela Riseborough playing Wallis, and from film stills and publicity shots I have seen pre-release, this is going to be a supremely stylish affair. Any film about the Duchess of Windsor is always going to feature fashion heavily. Clothes were important to Wallis, she believed that not being the most beautiful women in the world mattered far less if you were the best dressed. Wallis was always exquisitely turned out, favouring designers like Mainbocher and Schiaparelli, and having…
